Terms of use
Plain terms for a non-custodial tool: your keys, your vault, your responsibility.
Last updated 7 November 2026
01 What Nox is
Nox is software: a website, an in-browser demo, and smart contracts on Robinhood Chain that you can use to create and manage your own vault. By using any of them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.
The demo vault is a simulation that runs only in your browser. It holds no funds, touches no blockchain, and nothing you do in it has any real effect.
02 Nox never holds your funds
Nox is non-custodial. Your vault is a smart contract that you create and control with your own wallet. We never hold your private keys or your funds, and we can't move, freeze, recover or return them for you.
The vault contracts have no admin key and can't be upgraded. Once deployed, they run as written. No one, including us, can change the rules of your vault, release a hold early, or undo a transaction.
03 Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your wallet, your private keys, your seed phrases, your safe harbor address and every setting of your vault. If you lose access to your safe harbor or set it to an address you don't control, funds sent there may be lost for good.
You are responsible for checking every transaction before you sign it, for paying network fees, and for making sure your use of Nox is legal where you live.
04 Risks
Using smart contracts and crypto assets carries real risk. The Nox contracts have been tested but have not had an independent external audit. They may contain bugs. Robinhood Chain, wallets, RPC providers and other software Nox relies on can fail or behave in unexpected ways.
Nox makes theft with a stolen key harder: risky transactions wait in a timed hold you can cancel. It can't protect against every kind of loss, for example a transaction you approve yourself, a compromised safe harbor, or a send that fits within limits you set. Only use Nox with funds you can afford to put at risk.
05 No advice
Nothing on this website is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Mentions of hacks, amounts or projects are for context only.
06 The software is provided as is
Nox is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of funds, data, profits or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Nox, the website or the contracts, even if we were told such losses were possible.
07 Acceptable use
Don't use Nox for anything illegal, to hide the proceeds of crime, or to interfere with the website or other people's use of it.
08 Changes
We may update the website and these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The deployed contracts can't be changed, so updates to these terms never change how an existing vault behaves.
